Becoming One with Ourselves

L.L. here, thinking about one of our premier Network photographers—Kelly Langner Sauer. Not long ago, Kelly occupied two online spaces; her blog and photography sites were separate. But anybody who knows Kelly knows that her words and her images, her life and her camera, move together.

At some point Kelly told the world she was no longer going to try to maintain these parts of herself as separate pieces. She unveiled one beautiful, new, oh-so-Kelly site. I love going there. It was a good decision on her part.

Here at HighCallingBlogs, we’re feeling a little like Kelly these days. We occupy this space, but we also have a sister site TheHighCalling. Each has its own strengths and each expresses something unique about our sponsor organization.

Like Kelly, we've been thinking it’s time to bring the two parts of ourselves together. Come this Fall, we’ll unveil what we hope will be an oh-so-marvelous TheHighCalling site, where you’ll get the best of what both original sites had to offer.

As we make our way towards this moment, we want you to know we’ve got you in mind. Your feedback on a recent post told us what you love here and what you wish. We want to keep doing what you love and give you even more than you wished for.

Over the next few months, we’ll try to get more specific, and you’ll have a chance to talk to us and ask questions.

Now, if only we could get Kelly to come and do a photo shoot of this exciting community moment…
