Hands on in the Dominican Republic

If you listen to the news, everything seems bad. People are hurting people
everywhere. Governments are corrupt, and it seems like the good guys really do
finish last. Don't believe it. Don't allow yourself to believe it. The Kingdom
of Heaven is like a mustard seed, so says Jesus. That means that goodness is
always growing. Quietly, unconcerned with publicity, and undaunted by evil. And
it happens wherever good people give even one small cup of cold water to a
thirsty person.

Recently I've become aware of an organization called
Edge Outreach. Edge takes
water purification units, in the name of Christ, to parts of the world where
clean water is almost unheard of. I'm currently in the Dominican Republic
installing purifiers. Curtis, a plumber from Louisville, is leading our team.
He's taking his work into the world.
