Frio Suite by Phil Keaggy and Jeff Johnson, music about our partner ministry Laity Lodge

by Anonymous

Marcus here. As Senior Editor of TheHighCalling.org and HighCallingBlogs.com, sometimes I like to help people here get a sense of the bigger picture.

We're part of a larger nonprofit called Laity Renewal. Recently, our sister program Laity Lodge received a pretty big honor when Phil Keaggy and Jeff Johnson collaborated to write some music inspired by our retreat center and the beauty of the Frio Canyon. (You can read a full review of the music CD at Kirk Jordan's site, Wood Between the Worlds.)

If you're interested in getting a sense of place for what we're doing here at HighCallingBlogs.com, just watch this video. Someday, somehow, we hope to make this site and this community feel like the Frio Canyon. I'm not sure that's possible. But at least you can watch a video and hear some cool music. (I love ambient music, by the way.)
