Making letters for the Kingdom

My daughter, Alice, is four and she's learning to write her letters. Some days her "A" stands tall and well-dressed. On others it slouches and teeters with innocent drunkenness. On some days she likes letter-making and on others she doesn't.  Regardless, I'm pretty sure she's never thought of this exercise as a potential vocation.
