More Confetti - Shrinking Camel to Present at Princeton!

Seems that one of our high calling bloggers has been invited to Princeton Theological Seminary! Bradley J. Moore of Shrinking the Camel will be presenting in Princeton, New Jersey, along with Dr. Stephen Payne and James B. Wood at Leadership and Spirituality: Transforming the Workplace .
(To be honest, I'm feeling a little star struck. Bradley, are we still worthy to comment on your blog? Now that you've made it big, remember us little people...)
If you're in the New Jersey area, consider attending the event. It's March 22 - 24.
Even if you have no plans of attending, their description is worth reading just as a reminder of the message we're trying to encourage people with. Here's some info from Princeton Theological site about the focus of the event:
What does your spiritual life have to do with
leadership effectiveness,
organizational performance,
career growth,
and achieving business results?EVERYTHING
Our daily work is God’s calling – an empowering opportunity for us to learn more on our journey of knowing and showing greater love. Yet more and more leaders complain that the pressures from the fast-paced workplace of today are pulling them in precisely the opposite direction. Shouldn’t the clergy and laity be doing more together to enable the Holy Spirit to reverse this trend?
This seminar event is a unique opportunity for clergy and laity to come together as fellow professionals to learn about the challenges, benefits and practical applications of allowing the Holy Spirit to impact our influence as leaders in the workplace .
By placing managers and leaders from church and the business community on the same playing field to discuss these questions, we are seeking to empower and improve the effectiveness of all their professional lives . This seminar will help business leaders discover new ways to enhance their organization’s integrity, stewardship and moral character. Senior clergy will better support and encourage professionals within their congregation, and also bring the same principals to their own leadership.
Did you read those bits that I put in bold? "Our daily work is God's calling." Man, I really feel like we're speaking the same language on this. What an encouragement for Bradley. Good on you, man!

Daily Reflection From Laity Lodge
Beauty as a Signpost to God, Part 2
The fact that we can perceive things as beautiful, I believe, points to the existence of a God who loves beauty and created us in his own image. I talked about this in yesterday's reflection. Yet... Read More +
