"But Noah Found Favor"

11.3.03

"But Noah Found Favor"

But Noah found favor in the sight of the LORD .

Noah, the last member of the old age and the first of the new, was in motion in relation to God's purpose—"he walked with God." His life went in the direction that God purposed, and followed the pace (not lagging behind, not rushing ahead) at which God acted.

What else is significant about Noah?

PRAYER: There is always an exception, God. Always there is someone who braves the derision of the crowd, steps out of the lockstep march of the evil generation, and walks with you. Give me courage to walk with you. Amen.
