Transcript:
While attending a dinner, newly elected Senator Bill Bradley asked the waiter for an extra pat of butter. The waiter said, "Sorry, one pat per person."
The emcee overheard and demanded: "Do you know who this is? This is Bill Bradley! All-American from Princeton. All-Pro with the Knicks. U.S. senator! Potential president!"
The waiter responded, "Do you know who I am?"
The emcee replied, "I guess I don't. Tell me."
The waiter said, "I'm the guy who controls the butter!"
This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. Even a powerful person needs the person who controls the butter. Each person and each person's job is important—in the high calling of our daily work.
As for those who seemed to be important — whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not judge by external appearance... (Gal. 2:6)

READER'S COMMENTS
we all need to know who we are , accept it and be proud of it.And Say it when need be!
can a prostitute say the same?
Aaron, I don't think this short encouragement to people in their daily work applies to any illegal professions. That's an ethics question.
