There's an old story about two families moving to Plainsville on the same day. Both families met with a real estate agent who knew properties and people.

The father of the first family asked the agent what the town was like. The agent said, "What kind of town did you come from?" The father replied, "Lousy place. We couldn't wait to leave." The agent said, "Plainsville's no good either."

The father of the second family said, "We loved our last home." The agent said," You're gonna love Plainsville, and you'll hate to leave it, too."

This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. The Talmud has a saying: We see the world not as it is, but as we are. What is your view . . . in the high calling of our daily work?

Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.

(Ps. 34:12-13)

READER'S COMMENTS

Internally I have been struggling with unhappiness and dislike of everything for years, and thinking there was something different I had to find out there that would bring me at peace with the world.  And I heard this on a commercial at work a few weeks ago.  It has greatly changed my attitude and brought me to this website.

It is wonderful, heart touching message on Your Boss is Counting on You, and makes my heart bled for the  word of God that I am not able to obey faithful and be found faithful at all times . Being at work, home or some where, I am supposed to be obedient and faithful to God and His word.

Thanks for bringing me back to the path of faithfulness and obedient heart towads God and man.
