I am the chief cheerleader, and bail carrier for this mighty little group of highly talented communicators. When I am not working ,which is not all that often, I enjoy traveling, photography, reading, listening to music, and watching Broadway-type shows.

Hello! I live in Kerrville, Texas, with my amazing husband Damon. We are surrounded by family and enjoy spending plenty of time with them. My very favorite thing is a quiet Saturday morning spent relaxing on the back porch with Damon and a cup of hot coffee. I also love to read (just about anything historical), to travel, and to bake. I serve the Foundations for Laity Renewal as the Editorial Director. It’s been twenty-seven years since I first signed with FLR. Home base is Kerrville where my wife teaches high school horticulture. I like the sea, especially the sound of it, and the mystery of foggy mornings. Children make me laugh, forget myself. I used to be a pastor, but now I write and work with computers. I've been blogging at Real Live Preacher since 2002. Sometimes I write for the Christian Century.
