The High Calling has never aimed to be just another digital Christian publication pushing out more noise onto the internet. We hire just as many community editors as content editors. We read bloggers, we read affiliates, we engage in conversation on Facebook and Twitter with you, dear reader. For us, community is a matter of hospitality. This means we do our very best to listen to you. With 100,000 subscribers across all of our channels, this is a herculean effort sometimes, but if you reach out to us through our sites, someone will answer you. (We try to answer within a few hours, but sometimes we get behind.)

One of the most important ways we listen is by linking out to feature writing from people in our community. We read through the RSS feeds in our community, we follow your links on Facebook and Twitter, and we pay special attention to the other faith and work ministries around the world. We hope you enjoy these top five community articles from 2012!
