Correct Craft

Walter C. Meloon founded the Correct Craft boat company in the 1920s.  His goal was to build the “best world-class towboats for the glory of God.” 

During World War II, General Eisenhower asked Correct Craft to build 400 boats in fifteen days, for crossing the Rhine River. Working around the clock six days a week (not on Sundays),   Correct Craft got the job done—and gave God the glory.  

This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge.  Until 2008, Correct Craft was the oldest family-run boat company in the world.  Former president and CEO Walter N. Meloon once said, “My job is to protect the investment of the stockholders, but . . . whatever I do is for the glory of God.”  That’s the high calling of our daily work.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
