Another Person's Value

What exactly was Ted’s value?  In meetings, he seldom spoke.  He wasn’t the idea guy.  He appeared to add nothing.   

On the day of the big presentation, the team leader aimed her remote control toward the projector, clicked, and…nothing.  The room fell silent.  All anyone could see was impending failure.  But wait, Ted was walking to the main laptop.  He leaned over and executed several clicks. The projector came alive. Bright slides appeared; they were in business.   

This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge. In Corinthians, Paul advises us that every single body part is indispensable. Until it’s proven, never presume that you know another person’s value…in the high calling of our daily work.
 

On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable.  (1 Corinthians 12:22)
