            You are The One, the only One
            Who  knows me inside out
            Despite the highs and lows of me
            You haven't any doubt
            That what You started years ago
            Will come to full fruition
            But only if I spend the time
            Immersed in Your tuition.

            That's the part I seem to lack
            My concentrations poor
            My mind it wanders everywhere
            I seem to take a tour
            But when I finally take a gaze
            Upon Your precious word
            The times I've chosen other things
            Seem really quite absurd.
