PhotoPlay Gallery: Colour Swirl

This month, PhotoPlay was joined by Random Acts of Poetry for a special colour swirl edition. We start with this beautiful strand of blue, shot by Cindee Snider Re, and the accompanying featured poem, "Blue Riff," one of three Shadorma form riffs by Maureen Doallas:

Blue Riff

Baby, you
had me with your French
bleu. Your plot
to blue-flag my attentions
one Tiffany blue

box, ribbon
laced. Out of the blue
I could see
your blueprint
for our future no blue-plate
special I could say

yes to but
once in a blue moon
a habit
-forming mix
to send us soaring into
that wild blue yonder.

The links and gallery images below contain a list of original submissions from last week's challenges where participants, ranging from expert to beginner, had to capture colour through words and through images. We're so pleased to share them with you.

Daily Reflection From Laity Lodge

Beauty as a Signpost to God, Part 2

The fact that we can perceive things as beautiful, I believe, points to the existence of a God who loves beauty and created us in his own image. I talked about this in yesterday's reflection. Yet... Read More +
