When the Students School the Teacher

Hugh Atkinson is a third-grade teacher who loves his job. In his blog, Ramblings of a Third Grade Mind, he writes about the impact on his students and how they reciprocate. The relationships he makes enhance the learning of his students.

“When you’re at the grocery story and small bodies with large voices rush at you while screaming your name…you feel like a movie star,” he writes. “When parents of former students who are now in high school see you in line at Starbucks, and jump up and pay for your coffee… you see you made a difference.” Read his post here – and thank a teacher today!
