Todd Lake graduated Harvard University magna cum laude in 1982 and studied at Princeton Seminary. He earned his Master of Divinity degree in 1988 from Southern Seminary­, where he received the American Bible Society Award for Excellence in Biblical Studies. In 1997, he earned his Ph.D. in systematic theology with a minor in church history at Boston College.Todd and his wife, Dr. Joy Jordan-Lake (author, English professor) also co-pastored Cambridgeport Baptist Church in Cambridge, Mass., an interracial church with ministries to the poor, elderly, prisoners and children.He is currently vice president for spiritual development at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He continues to speak and write about vocational calling as something that is true not only for ministers and missionaries, but for each follower of Christ.
