Recently, the High Calling spoke with Marlon Hall, Cultural Architect at The Awakenings Movement, about the intersection of the sacred and secular. He cites the Renaissance in Italy as evidence for the fact that reawakening comes when ideas, and people, connect. When our faith and work intersect, great things can happen.

Sometimes in life we get to a point where everything seems...settled. Our jobs, our families, our churches—all have their own time and place in the schedule. It's easy to compartmentalize our lives, especially when each responsibility demands so much of our attention. 

But shouldn't our faith be more than just one aspect of our lives? Shouldn't it inform, transform, and energize everything it comes into contact with, including our work? It can, if we let it.
